There’s something about a store opening that gets the fashion crowd buzzing — and when Zoe Tay is in the room, it’s practically a red carpet moment.
On May 26, iROO officially unveiled its very first outlet store at IMM Outlet Mall, and the launch was everything we love about modern fashion: effortless style, a sustainability-forward message, and a little star power to top it off.
A Toast to Conscious Fashion (With yummy refreshments!)
The celebration began with a refreshing twist — media guests were welcomed with organic beverages served in reusable glassware, setting the tone for an event rooted in thoughtfulness and design. It wasn’t just about opening a new store.
It was about opening the conversation on sustainable fashion done right.
iROO’s Chief Operating Officer Emily Huang and Singapore’s style icon Zoe Tay took center stage for the official ceremony, joined by design and retail visionaries Anthony Ang of Wynist Retail Solutions and Jarrod Lim, the award-winning designer behind some seriously stunning upcycled furniture.
Textile Waste, Transformed
One of the most memorable moments?
The unveiling of two repurposed textile boards, signed by both Emily and Zoe — a symbolic gesture that captured iROO’s commitment to sustainability. These boards weren’t just for show. They were created using Wynist’s patented Granulation Technology, turning textile waste into solid, design-worthy material.
And designer Jarrod Lim took it one step further, crafting furniture pieces from these boards that are not only functional but also seriously beautiful. Proof that sustainable materials can be just as sleek as anything brand-new.
All of us were given a little surprise from the media goodie bag – There was a little piece of unique recycled coaster that we could not tell was made from the repurposed textile materials! Here it is: (I got so inspired!)
Design Details That Matter
Walk into the new IMM store and you’ll see the difference right away: eco-friendly flooring, display tables crafted from repurposed materials, and even clothing hangers made from coffee grounds.
Every element is a nod to iROO’s thoughtful approach to retail design.
And it’s not just the store layout that’s different — it’s the philosophy behind the clothes, too. iROO releases weekly collections in limited quantities, avoiding the wasteful cycle of mass production. The result? A curated, constantly refreshed selection that feels exclusive and sustainable.
Here are some nice themed selections that I personally feel look exclusively elegant – suitable for different types of occasions! It’s not hard finding a favorite outfit there!

Zoe Tay’s Take on Timeless Style
During a cosy on-stage chat with emcee Joey Tay (Yu Rong), Zoe Tay opened up about her own love for the brand.
“I like to experiment with different dressing styles from time to time,” she shared. “Old or pre-loved clothes needn’t be discarded — you can give them a new lease of life by styling them in more ways than one.”
It’s a mindset that perfectly aligns with iROO’s eco-conscious approach — and a gentle reminder that sustainability isn’t just a trend.
It’s a lifestyle.
Fashion, Reimagined
With their IMM outlet now open, iROO is proving that fashion can be equal parts stylish and sustainable. Whether you’re refreshing your wardrobe or simply curious to see how recycled materials can become retail art, this is one opening worth checking out.
And with thanks to iROO, I got to to pick my favorites from their selections and brought them home – Just in time for my upcoming events that I will definitely find myself wearing them (and the chance to “show off” in case anyone asks the origin of it!)
Here’s a pic of me wearing their dress – I totally LOVE the collar and the feel of it (I felt like it created the illusion of a lighter skin tone on me. HAHA)
And I paired it together with their checkered style outerwear too! (I am loving the trumpet-style sleeves!)
See?! Their outfits are really versatile.
And I am ending off this post with another photo of me with their black bag that was given during the event (I find it so lovely and it became my everyday bag!)
As below are the store outlet’s details: – (Go and check out the store – Because their styles and designs are REALLY very limited. Once you missed it, it may not be back again!)
