With Halloween around the corner, here’s SG Lifestyle’s guide to a list of Halloween events taking place in Singapore this 2023 – read on for more! 🎃

1) FEARVILLE

The Market Sessions presents Fearville, an event to encourage youths to embrace and conquer their fears. The Market Sessions is a series of events championed by The Market Society (TMS), the consumer-lifestyle division owned by independent marketing consultancy, The M Makers (TMM).

Fearville, in collaboration with Cross Ratio Entertainment, Singapore’s largest independent music label, is TMS’ first physical event. It will be aptly held during the Halloween weekend over two days. The event will feature three immersive zones; Music, Makers and Interactive. Each zone will showcase young local talents, namely singers, musicians, and artists, who will entertain with captivating music performances, creative art and experimental workshops.

The Interactive Zone

The interactive zone includes Gleaming Realm, a special art installation where attendees can draw and express their fears, which will be projected on the wall.

There will also be a Corner of Closure, where attendees can anonymously pen their fears on sticky notes and later paste them on the “Wall of Fears”. These notes will eventually accumulate to form an exhibit which other attendees can read and add on, so they know they are not alone in their fears. Mini workshops will be conducted by guest artists, who will take attendees through their artistic process, share about their challenges, and how they overcome difficulties in their artistic pursuits.
