Wondering what to do this weekend? Here’s the SG Lifestyle Team’s weekly round-up of FREE WEEKEND ACTIVITES TO DO IN SINGAPORE (well, mostly free) as we try to adapt to a new normal while waiting for the current COVID-19 situation to improve.

This includes a mixture of virtual/digital events/activities you can do at home, as well as physical events/places to visit/attend. Nevertheless, please do your due diligence to do your part to stay safe.

1) Visit: OTH Chinese New Year Bazaar

Come down to Festive Walk East, Level 1 from 7 to 15 Jan (12-9pm on weekdays and 9am – 9pm on weekends) for OTH Chinese New Year Bazaar to stock up your festive goodies! Items from NTUC Fairprice, Mr Bean, Fragrance and Bizlink will be on sale for your CNY needs!
There will also be fringe activities such as DIY CNY hanging ornaments and Chinese Calligraphy happening during the weekend on 7, 8, 14 and 15 Jan.


2) Contest: Design your own 兔gether SCCC red packets

Collect your limited edition 兔gether SCCC red packets. Each set consists of 2 blank red packets along with two pieces of stickers to create your own personalised red packet. Work your creativity with our red packet set; the three most creative designs win a $30 NTUC voucher each!

3) Visit: Singapore Art Week

Look forward to an exciting line-up of programmes including curator tours, performances, workshops and more at the Singapore Art week till 15 Jan 2023. Happening at Singapore Art Museum at Tanjong Pagar Distripark.

5) Visit: Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall

This installation is a collaboration between the memorial hall and Hong Kong art toy designer Chan Siu Kau, and will be on display from 29 December 2022 to 19 February 2023, 10am to 7pm (closed on Mondays). Admission to the memorial hall’s compound to view the installation is free.
