Here’s the SG Lifestyle Team’s weekly round-up of STAY AT HOME ACTIVITIES that you can do at home for free (well, mostly free) during this circuit breaker (CB) period as we wait for the current COVID-19 situation to improve.

With only 2 ingredients, you can create your very own sardine puff! SUPER EASY to try at home 🙂 Oh and you can just use any bread, not necessarily Gardenia 😉

Ingredients needed:

1x Loaf of White Bread
1x Can of Sardine

Step 1: Separate sardine from its gravy and mash the sardine completely

Step 2: Then, add some chilli, onion to stir-fry for around 5-10 minutes until the sardine taste suits your preference

Step 3: Put a few spoons of sardine on a slice of bread then fold the bread into half

Step 4: Take a glass cup or mug and press against the halved bread to form the shape of a puff

Step 5: Repeat the above steps for more slices of bread

Step 6: Heat up the pan, add oil and deep fry the puffs until they turn golden brown

Enjoy!

Or you can always just give a free share/shout out on your socials/with your friends & family when you spot a good deal or offer. You can also join this Facebook group (Hawkers United – Dabao 2020) showcasing a list of Hawker Food that you can dabao in Singapore during this CB period. Share the love – it’s FREE 🙂

8) #SGPride: Display our National Flag at Home

Due to the current circuit breaker and scenario we are facing, Singaporeans can now display the Singapore flag from now till 30 September as a show of solidarity instead of the usual period of 1 July – 30 Sept (National Day celebration). So what are you waiting for? Bring out your flag and hang it loud and proud #SGPRIDE!
