REJOICE – the weekend is here! Meanwhile, if you were wondering what to do this weekend? Here’s the SG Lifestyle Team’s weekly round-up of STAY AT HOME ACTIVITIES that you can do at home for free (well, mostly free) during this circuit breaker (CB) period as we wait for the current COVID-19 situation to improve.

1) Try Out DIY Recipes: IKEA Meatballs
All the fast food joints are spilling the beans on some of their iconic dishes. Last week we shared Mcdonald’s Sausage and Egg McMuffin and this week, we will be sharing how to make IKEA’s meatballs in the comfort of home! This is the recipe shared by IKEA UK, but actually there is a recipe book published by IKEA Singapore which uses different ingredients HERE!
250 g minced beef
250 g minced pork
2–3 dl cream (or milk) and water
2½ tbsp fine chopped onion
½ dl unsweetened rusk flour
2 boiled potatoes, cold
4–5 tbsp butter, margarine or oil
Heat the onion until golden in a couple of tablespoons of lightly browned butter. Mash the potatoes and moisten the rusk flour in a little water. Mix all the ingredients into a smooth farce and flavour generously with salt, white pepper and (optional) fine crushed allspice. Shape the farce into round balls and transfer to a floured chopping board, then fry them quite slowly in plenty of butter.

Well, did you know that there is a FREE version of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp available on mobile (Google Play Store / App Store). Oh and this editor is currently playing it right now.
7) Help #SaveFNBSG
There are many ways to help #SaveFNBSG during this period. Why not opt to make someone’s day by gifting them a giftcard to their favourite restaurant (or get one for yourself!) HERE and HERE! Or you can always just give a free share/shout out on your socials/with your friends & family when you spot a good deal or offer. You can also join this Facebook group (Hawkers United – Dabao 2020) showcasing a list of Hawker Food that you can dabao in Singapore during this CB period. Share the love – it’s FREE 🙂
