Wondering what to do this weekend? Here’s the SG Lifestyle Team’s weekly round-up of FREE WEEKEND ACTIVITES TO DO IN SINGAPORE (well, mostly free).
This includes a mixture of virtual/digital events/activities you can do at home, as well as physical events/places to visit/attend.
1) Visit: i Light Singapore 2025
i Light Singapore, organized by the Urban Redevelopment Authority and presented by UOB, returns from May 29 to June 21, 2025, offering visitors a more connected festival experience than ever before. Featuring 17 installations by 20 local and international artists, the event will be held across new satellite sites at Singapore River and RafflesPlace, alongside the returning South Beach site, expanding the experience beyond Marina Bay. This year’s theme, “To Gather,” inspired by the color red, explores its cultural significance as a symbol of life, love, passion, and unity. Red represents warmth, energy, and the power to bring people together. Through interactive installations and dynamic works that come to life through shared experiences, the festival this year celebrates the many forms of togetherness.
