1) Visit: Quan Shui Wet Market’s SG60 Bazaar
On the weekend of 30 and 31 August, Quan Shui Wet Market will host its SG60 Bazaar at 50 Tagore Lane, bringing together 27 diverse vendors in food, beverages, retail, and experiential offerings. This event invites visitors to celebrate the essence of being Singaporean through a vibrant showcase of local flavours and creative expressions. Attendees can look forward to a curated line-up featuring favourites such as Quan Shui Dim Sums, Teochew Mochi Piahs, Curry Buns, and unique fusion items like Negitoro Pie Tee and locally inspired Cheese Platters. Exclusive to the bazaar is a special edition Scallion Oil QQ Noodle dish, topped with melt-in-your-mouth Char Siew Pork Jowl slices.

2) Visit: GEYLANG SERAI EXTRAVAGANZA 5.0
For five days only, Wisma Geylang Serai will be transformed into a lively kampung-style fiesta, bringing together the best of tradition, community, and entertainment. Visitors can look forward to a vibrant lineup of live performances, indulge in a wide variety of irresistible street food, and enjoy classic funfair games with the chance to win exciting prizes.

3) Visit: SG60 Heart&Soul
Step into the SG60 Heart&Soul Experience, a free, immersive journey that explores Singapore’s past, present, and exciting future. Designed with young families in mind, this interactive exhibition invites parents and children to discover what lies ahead through engaging, tech-powered storytelling. One of the highlights is the personalised experience using generative AI, offering visitors a glimpse into their possible future in Singapore. Expect multi-sensorial exhibits featuring everything from futuristic phone booths to captivating floor-to-ceiling visuals that bring the experience to life.
The event is split across two locations: a ticketed deep-dive experience at Orchard Library, and free public installations at Orchard Central and orchardgateway. More than just an exhibition, SG60 Heart&Soul is a celebration of Singapore’s journey which is perfect for inspiring a sense of connection and curiosity in the next generation. 4) Visit: Tampines MRT Bazaar
Visitors can discover a vibrant array of street food, refreshing beverages, and delicious sweets, all while browsing retail stalls offering fashion, unique gifts, and everyday essentials. Whether stopping by for a quick snack, enjoying a family outing, or indulging in some after-work shopping, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
5) Visit: Hello Future: Sharing Our Journey Together
Celebrate Singapore’s 60th birthday at Hello Future: Sharing Our Journey Together, an inspiring exhibition by the Singapore Art Museum (SAM), where preschoolers from 24 schools across the island showcase 14 vibrant artworks reflecting their hopes, dreams, and imaginations. The exhibition offers a unique insight into how the youngest members of our society perceive identity, community, and the environment.
Visitors can also take part in engaging weekend activities, including art workshops (24–31 Aug, Saturday & Sunday afternoons) and upcycled craft sessions (6–13 Sep, weekend afternoons), making it a fun and interactive experience for all ages.
