2) Visit: Majulah Singapura at Singapore Navy Museum
Celebrate Singapore’s 60th National Day on 9 and 10 August with special programmes at the Singapore Navy Museum. Visitors can create their own DIY buttons featuring exclusive Singapore and Navy designs, collect limited-edition temporary tattoos, and pick up a free audio guide to explore the museum. Docent-led tours will also be available on 9 August at 11 am and 1 pm.
For the little ones, there’s a Naval Exploration Kit to help them discover the Navy’s fascinating history while expressing their creativity by designing an ensign and completing activities within the booklet. Kids can also join Otto’s Tentacle Takeover, a fun adventure to find six hidden artefacts and exhibits around the museum, and help Captain Simon foil the plans of the evil genius Otto.
To make your visit even easier, free hourly shuttle bus services from EXPO MRT to the Singapore Navy Museum will be available on weekends and public holidays from 10 am to 2 pm, ensuring a smooth and stylish journey to the event.

4) Visit: Good Pet Fair – Kampong Edition
The Good Pet Fair – Kampong Edition invites pet lovers to a fun-filled weekend on 9–10 August at the 100PLUS Promenade @ National Stadium. This exciting event promises two days of engaging workshops, including canine massage and animal communication, expert talks on cat grooming and physiotherapy, as well as retail booths showcasing local and indie pet brands.

5) Visit: Street Eats Under the Stars Night Market
Get ready for an unforgettable National Day celebration at the Singapore Flyer, where an exciting mix of vibes, views, and variety awaits. Enjoy live performances by Jeff Ng on 8 August at 7:30 PM and 9 August at 6:30 PM. The event will also feature daily performances from Singapore’s best local buskers, adding to the lively atmosphere.
