Hatch Art Project is celebrating its move to 7 Yong Siak Street by throwing a grand opening show, in the heart of thriving Tiong Bahru. Newly located in one of Singapore’s most unique residential neighborhoods, its showcase of Grand Opening Show: Between Analog and Digital presents twelve new artworks by five of the region’s premier artists, who are also participants in the upcoming Art Jakarta Virtual 2020.

7) Virtual Event: National Heart Week/World Heart Day by Singapore Heart Foundation

8) IG-Worthy Location: New Peranakan-Themed Starbucks Store
Itching to explore a new and unfamiliar place to make up for the lack of overseas trip? There’s a new gorgeous Starbucks store that’s filled with Peranakan art for you to visit. The store has a cosy, minimalist interior design with wooden furniture, wall murals and artwork by local artist Danielle Tay that create a relaxing homey vibe. 10) Participate: Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore by National Library Board
As we move towards the new norm amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic, the National Library Board (NLB) is working on preserving what life during this pandemic and the circuit breaker period in Singapore has been like, and what home (in a physical or symbolic sense) means to you in a time of COVID-19. These stories and experiences will be archived for future generations and you can play your part to create a fuller record of our day-to-day experiences.

13) Challenge: #CleanPlateChallenge
Help to alleviate child hunger by taking part in the #CleanPlateChallenge, the first initiative by Deliveroo Singapore in its partnership with charity organisation Food from the Heart. From 28 Sept to 16 Oct 2020, Deliveroo Singapore will donate $1 in support of Food from the Heart’s Clean Plate Campaign for each submission received in the #CleanPlateChallenge social media challenge.
