1) Visit: Lady Dior House
Through projections, installations and animations, you’ll discover what goes into crafting an iconic bag like the Lady Dior. A ballet of rituals that take place in Dior’s leather workshops, it’s an insight into this intricate puzzle that is immaculate crafted and assembled by highly skilled artisans – a process that involves infinite patience, passion and precision.
The Lady Dior House exhibition is on from now till Aug 11. Admission is by appointments only and you can you book your viewing slots here.
2) Visit: MUSEUM MARTKET by ABRY
Inspired by the National Collection, and interpreted through contemporary eyes, the creations lovingly celebrates the richness of Singapore’s culture, and fosters new appreciation of our heritage. Each items blends tradition and modernity, reflecting Singapore’s unique history and its evolution into a vibrant contemporary society. In your hands is not a mere souvenir but an emblem of the Singaporean spirit, embodying stories and craftsmanship from the past to the future.
Location: Outside Singapore History Gallery, Level 1
Time: 10am – 7.30pm.
3) Visit: Katong Square Lifestyle & Vintage Market
The August edition will happen for 3 days from 2-4 August 2024.
There is a large indoor section with lots of antiques, retro fashion, vintage watches, vinyl records fair, pre-loved treasures, haute couture, branded luxury handbags, organic and sustainable products, craft & artisanal works of art, pop culture collectibles, memorabilia & ephemera and so much more you have to visit to discover!
Saturday 3rd August 1pm to 10pm
Sunday 4th August 11am to 8pm
4) Visit: Learning Gallery
Spark curiosity and explore contemporary art with the uninhibited spirit of a child and rediscover the joy of learning.
