Wondering what to do this weekend? Here’s the SG Lifestyle Team’s weekly round-up of FREE WEEKEND ACTIVITES TO DO IN SINGAPORE (well, mostly free) as we try to adapt to a new normal while waiting for the current COVID-19 situation to improve.
This includes a mixture of virtual/digital events/activities you can do at home, as well as physical events/places to visit/attend. Nevertheless, please do your due diligence to do your part to stay safe.
Recommended Advisory Notice: Let’s play our part to Stay Safe during this period:
Wear a mask and see a doctor promptly if you are sick!
Wash your hands regularly and properly using soap and water!

4) DIY: Make your own 3-D model
With the recent boom in virtual YouTubers it seems like everyone are getting in on the virtual avatar scene, which is why we’ve seen so many “create your own” VTuber apps and voice modulators cropping up all over the Internet.
The models produced in VRoid Studio are completely free to use, whether for commercial or non-commercial use, which is great news for any prospective VTubers who have been held back by the price tags of designing/rigging a 3-D avatar.
If you’re interested, you can download the software for free through their official website for Steam, Windows, or Mac OS to start creating today!
5) Visit: The KAWS:HOLIDAY Art Installation
From 13 – 21 November 2021, you’ll be able to spot KAWS:HOLIDAY SINGAPORE at The Float @ Marina Bay.
Of the installation, KAWS has this to say: “At a time when international travel may be challenging for many, I am thankful for the opportunity through the ongoing HOLIDAY project to bring art experiences to different localities, and am excited to come to Singapore for the first time.”
KAWS:HOLIDAY SINGAPORE will also mark the last monumental event for The Float @ Marina Bay, with plans for its redevelopment set to begin in March 2022. So visit it before both installation and venue are gone!
We hope you enjoy this week’s round-up of weekend activities to do in Singapore FOR FREE!
More importantly – stay safe and don’t say we NEVER share!
