This includes a mixture of virtual/digital events/activities you can do at home, as well as physical events/places to visit/attend. Nevertheless, please do your due diligence to do your part to stay safe.

Recommended Advisory Notice: Let’s play our part to Stay Safe during this period:
Wear a mask and see a doctor promptly if you are sick! ⁣⁣
Wash your hands regularly and properly using soap and water! ⁣⁣

1) Visit: Asian Select Fair at Takashimaya

Take your pick from the wide range of tasty treats at the Asian Select Fair at Takashimaya this weekend and pamper your tastebuds.

2) Visit: Hito Steyerl: Factory of the Sun

Singapore Art Museum presents the Southeast Asia premiere of Hito Steyerl’s landmark video installation Factory of the Sun. Through the installation, Steyerl explores how the endless circulation of images in contemporary media influences our reality. On screen, the distinctions between truth and fiction dissolve in a montage of YouTube dance videos, drone surveillance footage, video games, fictitious news segments and documentation of student uprisings. This alternate reality extends beyond the screen, immersing viewers in a glowing grid that connects the physical gallery to the virtual world of the film.

Location: Gallery 2, SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark

Time: 10AM–7PM

General Admission (Free for Singaporeans and PRs)

3) Visit: Food Truck Fiesta

Discover an array of affordable and new creations that will leave you wanting more. From irresistible street eats to delectable gourmet treats, you will definitely find joy for your belly at the Food Truck Fiesta.

4) Visit: Light Up on Bridges

Inspired by dreams of Singaporeans, three bridges with rich heritage, Cavenagh Bridge, Read Bridge and Alkaff Bridge are lit up to celebrate Singapore River Festival, representing the Future Progression, Lively Ensemble and Garden City respectively.

5) Visit: Our Tampines Hub Arts

Spark your imagination with exciting arts and craft workshops every weekend at Gate 7 from 1-4pm and Gate 8 from 3-6pm! Admission is FREE and on first-come-first-served basis.
