1) Visit: Unspoken Life Photography Exhibition 2023
The Unspoken Life Photography Exhibition is an inspiring showcase of the artistic talents and diverse stories of migrant domestic workers. Through the lens of their cameras, these talented individuals capture their unique perspectives and experiences, shedding light on their journeys, challenges, and triumphs. This exhibition is an opportunity for the community to appreciate their creativity and resilience.

2) Visit: Hello Future: Let’s Go Hand in Hand
Hello Future: Let’s Go Hand in Hand is part of the Think! Contemporary Preschool programme, presented by the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) in partnership with six preschools in Singapore. In this programme, contemporary art is used as an entry point to engage young minds on social issues in Singapore.
As part of the programme, these children were introduced to the , a series of adaptations of artworks in SAM’s collection that were created for the visually impaired community. This challenged the children to go beyond sight and use their other senses to experience art. It has been an invaluable experience and has taught the children to demonstrate concern for others in the community as well as envision an inclusive future in which everyone works and plays hand in hand regardless of our differences.
3) Visit: Now Boarding Exhibition
Do you ever wonder what Singapore was like 50 or even 100 years ago? If yes, you can now time travel to Singapore’s past, in the 1800s, through a travel-themed exhibition, ‘Now Boarding’, at the National Museum of Singapore (NMS).

Date/Time: Till 25 Feb 2024. 10 am to 7 pm daily (last admission at 6.30 pm)
4) Visit: AN ECLECTIC EXHIBITION
Project ‘B’ by Nicolette Bénard delves into the concept of dolls as beauty icons. She skillfully transforms childhood artifacts into distinctive plexiglass sculptures, raising questions about the existence of perfection and its illusory nature.

5) Visit: Garden of Lights
Fill your Instagram account with family wefies taken at Garden of Lights at VivoCity mall’s Sky Park.
There are four photo points which include a 50m-long Sanrio Characters Friendship Bridge, formed by 18 arches featuring popular stars under the global lifestyle brand such as My Melody, Kuromi and Pompompurin. A 7m-tall Hello Kitty figurine, standing in a flower maze amid piped-in Japanese songs, is another highlight.
The free Sanrio-themed event runs until Oct 1. Admission is from 10am daily and the photo points are lit from 6.30 to 10pm.
