2) Let’s Celebrate 2020 by Mediacorp
Count down to the new year with Singapore’s brightest stars at the party of the decade at The Promontory@Marina Bay! Let’s Celebrate 2020 by Mediacorp will be a celebration of music, dance and fashion, spotlighting the best talents from Singapore. From 7.30pm, the Republic Poly’s Electronic Music Production will spin music and get the party going. And from 10pm, revellers can groove to performances by next-generation Singapore talents such as Dru Chen, Glen Wee and Astronauts. The exciting line-up continues into the night which will include sizzling performances from electronic music singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko, Benjamin Kheng, as well as singer Aisyah Aziz, “Papa Rock” Ramli Sarip and Mediacorp artistes, to usher in the new year. It’s time to say goodbye to 2019, and welcome 2020 with a bang! Marina Bay Alliance is proud to be part of the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020 (MBSC 2020) with Starlight @ The Lawn! The Lawn will be transformed into a fun-filled venue full of activities for all ages! Look forward to LIVE music performances by up and coming artistes, away from the hustle and bustle of the other activities in Marina Bay. Unwind with your loved ones with delicious eats and drinks from our bazaar while savouring the views of Marina Bay. If you’re looking for a pint of beer to usher in the New Year, our bazaar has you covered. It’s the perfect way to wind down 2019 and toast to the new beginnings. Our friends from SAFRA will also be bringing carnival games on-site, so you can try your hand at winning attractive prizes. And of course, stick around for a great view of the New Year Fireworks! Kick off the night with a pre-party dance set by DJ HardBreaker presented by Le Noir Clarke Quay. From 9pm, enigmatic local band Shirlyn + The UnXpected take centre stage with their electrifying brand of rock and pop. Show hosts for the night, Kimberly Wang and Gerald Koh of Mediacorp 987FM will lead party-goers through stage games and entertainment all the way past midnight.
