The recommended selling price of this limited edition bottle (the first in this series) will be priced at $170!
All we can say is that the SG Lifestyle team are IN LOVE with the gorgeous and whimsical bottle design! And yes, this is a limited edition collectible bottle!
Meanwhile, we are no whisky experts, so here are some whisky makers notes about the The Macallan Concept No. 1 for your reference:
- Colour: Golden amber.
- Nose: Sweet butterscotch toffee, with almond, ginger spice and cinnamon. Hints of dried fruit, citrus and green banana.
- Palate: Sweet orange and lemon citrus with soft oak spices, fresh fruit and ginger.
- Finish: Medium sweet, dry with a lingering oak, citrus fruit and ginger finish.
- This is also the brand’s first double-matured whisky, matured first in sherry-seasoned oak casks and subsequently in ex-bourbon casks
The Macallan Concept No. 1 will be made progressively available in the rest of Asia from February 2019 but if you want to get it NOW – you now know where to get your hands on it 😉
