1) COMEX 2019

It is time to reawaken the passion, spirit and love for photography!

4) The Enabling Festival 2019

This three-day community festival is a kaleidoscope of multidisciplinary activities in the areas of art, music, design, theatre, film, dance, medical forums and hands-on workshops. Through these programmes and activities, we hope to showcase the potentialities in enabling persons with dementia to enjoy a better quality of life. The festival also shines a spotlight on caregivers, who are often the invisible heroes and provides possibilities for caregivers’ respite and solace through many interesting activities. There are many activities for caregivers such as Sharing Sessions, Meditation and Breathing workshops and even a Silent Disco Party, amongst many others.

9) Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival 2019

Organised by Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, Wan Qing Mid-Autumn Festival is an annual cultural event for the community to discover and experience the customs and traditions observed during the celebrations. This year’s festival presents an exciting weekend of offerings suitable for the young and the young at heart, including heritage trails around the Balestier precinct, guided tours of the museum’s galleries, mooncake tasting, lantern-making workshops, storytelling of Mid-Autumn tales, alfresco concert performances, and more.

10) Mid-Autumn Festival at Jurong Lake Gardens

Come celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival at Jurong Lake Gardens! Join us on a journey to the West with characters from popular Chinese folklore and watch the garden transform into a mythical world surrounded by a myriad of plants and animals at night. Other than big lantern set pieces, enjoy art performances which will happen daily and refuel yourself at the night market with a variety of food and drinks at the Wave Plaza. As it is also the school holiday week, the festival will be a good opportunity for the children and their parents to learn more about the arts, culture and history of a celebration of the forefathers.
