What to Do in Singapore this Weekend For FREE on 8 – 9 August 2020! (A National Day Special) #SupportLocalSG

Wondering what to do this weekend? Here’s the SG Lifestyle Team’s weekly round-up of FREE WEEKEND ACTIVITES TO DO IN SINGAPORE (well, mostly free) during Phase 2 as we try to adapt to a new normal while waiting for the current COVID-19 situation to improve.

This includes a mixture of virtual/digital events/activities you can do at home, as well as physical events/places to visit/attend. Nevertheless, please do your due diligence to do your part to stay safe.

8) Visit: 15-storey red & white cars vending machine in Bukit Merah (Physical) #SupportLocalSG

Autobahn Motors and some partners came up with this innovative automobile inventory system to overcome the space constraint in Singapore to showcase and deal cars with minimum space needed. The showroom will light up from 6:30pm to 10pm until August 10.

10) Visit: National Day façade projection at the National Gallery (Physical) #SupportLocalSG

The National Gallery’s central veiled canopy will be lit up in national colours of red white, together with colourful projections of 60 local artworks.The projections will run till Aug 30, from 7pm to midnight as part of an initiative by the National Gallery to commemorate Singapore’s 55th National Day and Singaporeans’ resilience through a challenging year.
