Want to explore Singapore’s social space in a fun and experiential way? Welcome to our second National Day Ground-Up Party, Better To(Gather)!  Last year, a hundred of you came in person. This year, our three-day party will be fully online (https://nationaldayparty.com/). You can drop by anytime you’re free, even just for a 5-minute online game or chit-chat. Be prepared for a quirky online experience!

Chat with our human books about their initiatives in spaces like community building, tech and education. Find out why they started it and what keeps them going.

Enjoy breakout activities including a Dungeon and Dragons (D&D) game, art jamming over conversation, and a reflective journey to explore big questions like relationships, passions, health and work.

()
Shy to come alone? Make a new random friend through our custom Telegram chatbot, and join the party together (join our Telegram group and click on pinned message: https://t.me/joinchat/B6eiphme8zGhUOAfpTU0ag).

What’s a party without random, casual interaction! We’ll have a games room, a chit-chat room, an artist/musician wall (shout-out to the “non-essentials”), and a community wall for you to share your well wishes for Singapore.

We encourage you to turn on your webcam for a more “real life” party experience. Wear red/white for national day vibes too! Cost: free! Come with an open mind 🙂

Event Date/Time:
-8 Aug (Sat): 3pm – 630pm (Breakout Activities + fringe activities)
-9 Aug (Sun): 1pm – 6pm (everything!)

Sign up for Breakout Activities here: https://bit.ly/ndgup2020

The actual event is first come first served via Zoom link (e.g. for a Breakout Activity with max. 10 participants, the room will be locked after 10 enter). Some activities will be recorded for memories/publicity for next year’s event.
